Tarunilakshmi Ventures OPC Pvt Ltd ("we", "our", or "us") operates the DivyaKarya Panchanga mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

- Name: If you choose to personalize the app, we store your name locally on your device.
- Family Member Details: Names and birth details of family members you add for Tarabalam/Chandrashtama calculations. This data is stored locally on your device.
- Language Preference: Your selected app language (English, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, or Marathi).
- Ishta Devata Preference: Your preferred deity selection for personalized content.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Location Data: With your permission, we access your device's location to calculate accurate sunrise, sunset, and panchanga data for your area. You can deny location access and manually set your city.
- Device Information: Basic device information (device model, OS version) may be collected by third-party services (Google AdMob, Firebase) for analytics and ad delivery.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information.
- We do not collect browsing history or contacts.
- We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Panchanga Calculations: Location data is used solely to compute accurate astronomical data (sunrise, sunset, planetary positions) for your location.
- Personalization: Your name, language, and deity preferences are used to customize the app experience.
- Family Features: Family member birth details are used locally to calculate Tarabalam and Chandrashtama status.
- Advertisements: We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve relevant ads. See Google's privacy policy for details.
- App Improvement: Firebase Analytics may collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the app.
3. Data Storage & Security
- All personal data (name, family details, preferences) is stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences and local storage.
- We use Firebase (Google Cloud) for content delivery (stotras, horoscopes) and anonymous analytics. Firebase stores no personal user data from our app.
- We do not maintain external databases of personal user information.
- Panchanga calculations are performed entirely offline on your device using astronomical algorithms.

5. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App contains religious and spiritual content suitable for all ages, but parental guidance is recommended.
6. Permissions We Request
- Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): To calculate panchanga data for your geographical location. This is optional.
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): To send daily panchanga reminders, if you enable them.
- Internet: To fetch content updates (stotras, horoscopes) and display advertisements.
7. Your Rights
- You can deny location permission and manually set your city.
- You can disable notifications from your device settings.
- You can clear all app data from Android Settings > Apps > DivyaKarya > Clear Data.
- You can opt out of personalized ads through your device's Google settings.
8. GDPR & Indian IT Act Compliance
We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 of India.
- You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data at any time by clearing app data.
- You may withdraw consent for location and notification permissions at any time via device settings.

9. Data Retention
All personal data is stored locally on your device and is retained until you clear the app data or uninstall the app. We do not retain any personal data on our servers.
